Kept these in the included soft case when not in use. However, this pair got scratched up in one small area that I have no explanation for. It affects my vision at times. I got this brand because it was reliable brand, and this style was both polarized (that means less glare) and correctly rated to filter both UVA and UVB ultraviolet light. That rating is important, important because if you wear sunglasses and they're not actually, correctly UVA and UVB 400 filtered, you're just opening up your eyes to get blasted with ultraviolet light, which would expose you to more sun damage. Trust me, I looked at a lot of brands… You can save some money elsewhere, but you can't rely on the quality.
