I suggest keeping it cleaned and spraying it with a dust mite killer from time to time, as dust mites enjoy tatami mats. Overall, great product and purchase, would definitely recommend.

An amazing product. I bought this as I needed a bed in a hurry . Due to the social distancing, currently large items are not being delivered. Bought this to tide me over till shops open. Now I think I can live without a traditional bed and mattress. I bought the futon along with this as well. It’s a comfortable double. It smells natural and the colour a pale green. It is made in Japan and lives up to the Japanese craftsmanship reputation. It will make very nice rug for the living room to sit on the floor as well.
