I think that it may well survive being left out in a shower of rain, but probably no more than this. Sorry I haven't put this to the test. **Q: can you tell me how long can i leave wind pu radio on charger for** A: It is a good idea not to leave anything connected for too long, as traditionally it is felt the batteries would get "cooked". I would say about 3 or 4 hours would be OK. If the radio runs down quickly, then try a little longer next time. I keep mine on the bathroom window, where the sunshine in the afternoon easily keeps the batteries charged enough to allow me to listen each morning whilst washing, and for when I shower. **Q: Can the batteries be replaced. I have had its predecessor [ Freeplay Ranger ] for several years, and wanted one for upstairs, and one down. I am really impressed with its performance for such a tiny radio. Easy to operate, good volume and clarity and holds its power for ages.
