It is definitely worth its money with some small remarks on it. 1st one it is not nearly as good as MacBook display of any year for sure. It is a middle range gaming display with a freesync option on board. Of course it will elevate your gaming experience if you previously used small display on handheld. HDR is not working properly. Resolution scaling (image sharpening) is not recognised by Mac, need to use a better display program for scaling. But it is good for gaming. And more one thing, it has white spots on retina. When the picture is black, you can see white spots all over the surface.
