**Q: How large are the pellets in diameter?**
A: they are more to the medium size pellets it's a good growth food

**Q: Does anyone have experience using this product to help even out retained scutes on small aquatic turtles?**
A: This is fine for turtles as long as you only use it for shedding purposes. The first commenter clearly doesn’t have turtles. You can replace 25% of their usual pellets with this until they shed. It helped mine get his retained scutes off

**Q: Is the weight 8.8 oz as in the description or 3.5 oz as pictured?**
A: 7 ounces is what is pictured

**Q: Is this suitable cold weather food for my pond goldfish?**
A: Yes, this is a cold weather food. According to liveaquaria.com once water temperatures lower to 70 degrees the staple food should be mixed with a wheat germ based food. Then, when water temperatures reach 60 degrees you should switch to a wheat germ based food exclusively. Stop all feeding when the water goes below 50 degrees as fish are incapable of digestion.
