**Q: what is the width of Bass neck at the top by the nut and bottom at the point when it joins the body**
A: 1 5/8 at top. 2 3/8” at bottom

**Q: Do the pickups need to be soldered?**

Thank you for your question.
The pickups are already attached to the main pickguard but we recommend you solder the wires that go underneath the bridge for maximum contact.  I hope this helps.

A: Yes

**Q: Are the frets leveled and crowned? And are the nut slots pre-cut?**
A: On mine the frets were leveled and crowned. The nut slots are cut but you might want to cut them deeper depending on your personal setup/playing style. Hope this helps.
