I played with the idea of using the large ones under my sub but as it is a home cinema sub rather than a hi fi sub and the sound is not directional I doubt it would make much difference. **Q: I have a speaker on a glass tv unit. These are fine, but my advice to the would-be purchaser is to check the dimensions carefully. These turned out to be much smaller than I expected and don;t actually give the separation I had wanted.
