The lubricant is not coming out when i squeeze the bottle hard.** A: The red cap has a shutoff seal so you need to pull the cap up/away from the bottle to break the seal. You will hear a slight "pop". This enables the flow of the lubricant through the cap and tube assembly. Push it back down to close it up for safe storage. **Q: Will this work for an elliptical?** A: No. I would also use it very sparingly on a treadmill. I made the mistake of over-using it and the silicon got on the band that connects the motor to the tread. The end result was slippage causing the treadmill to function poorly. I thought the motor burned out. **Q: Can i use this on my life fitness treadmill?** A: I do not know of any complications that would result.
