I also have a lot of 2 1/4 (two and a quarter inch) square mounted slides, but they're too big for this scanner. I experimented for you, by removing a slide from the mount, and yes, it will fit into the slot on the scanner, so you might be able to scan 120/220 negatives, but there's not a film holder/adapter for that size. You'll have to slide the film into the slot of the scanner, but due to the larger size of the negative, you might not get the entire picture into the scanning area. The scanner will also accept SD, SDHC and SDXC cards with a max of 128GB. I have not found a way to tell how much memory is in the scanner. I have scanned over 1400 slides so far and it is great. The scanner has a counter that counts the number of scans but I wish there was a way to reset it. The Model FS51 has 64mB of internal memory per the specifications, Maybe the rep was looking at this one.
