## Description

These are possibly the best solution to the age old problem of toilet seat blind hole fixings. They are used by Duravit in most of their wc pans and once fitted they provide a secure and lasting solution. Ok the downside, can be difficult to fit. Most seat fixing holes start off the same size but glaze running into the holes during firing reduces the hole size. Nobody yet has failed to fit them but the not so brave have filed them down. Review: Perfect fit for Duravit Starck 3 toilet - These were a perfect replacement for very old and very worn out original plugs that came with the toilet. They require a bit of force and patience to hammer down into a hole (make sure to use rubber mallet and coat the plugs in vaseline or washing liquid) but if you follow Gush website instructions you should be fine. Seller was great and helpful too so all in all an excellent buy.
Review: Good Product but seems to have one flaw - The product seems good if a little pricey, however after installing it using some silicon lubricant and using a piece of wood and a hammer, had to take out the bolt holding the seat in place, as soon as i did that the brass insert fell out and is now inaccessible as its fallen into the pan, will have to cut out one insert and will have to buy another set, beware that if you remove the bolt this may happen to you Update, have moved up to 5 stars after leaving initial review, seller has sent me 2 more in the post after i contacted them, excellent customer service, it really is the sturdiest plug available

**Q: Hi, will these fit a 18mm hole firmly enough to take the weight of the toilet seat closing?**

**Q: Do these fit a Duravit Starck 3 pan?**
A: Please read the full description. These are the blind hole fixings used by Duravit that will be fitted in the factory prior to delivery of most of their pans including stark 3

**Q: how does it work**
A: Extract old plugs from the holes in the porcelain. Clean out. Put a little grease or vaseline on the plug. Hold in place and knock in with soft headed hammer or mallet (rubber or wood). Then fit toilet seat.  They work a bit like a rawlplug.

**Q: What size diameter screws do you use with these (m6 or m5 or smaller)? my m6 screws hit the brass section at the bottom and do not go any further**
A: Never got to use them as they didn’t fit the toilet pan we have.  Had to have new hinges in the end - sorry we couldn’t help.

This was a lifesaver because it helped me out when I had to replace a toilet seat. One of these fittings had threaded and the screw wouldn’t stay inside the toilet seat move and the seller I bought the toilet seat from explained to me sadly he didn’t have any, but recommended the link to me on Amazon helped me out immensely.
