Review: Ultimate Drive First of all if you don't have a compatible power supply you're going to need to buy one. It's stated in the description but a lot of people seem to be missing it doesn't run on batteries I paid less than $20 for this pedal and I have zero complaints especially for that price. The construction looks nice and solid. And the pedal does what it's supposed to do. It gives you pretty good control over the sound and there's a wide range of tones to be found in this pedal. It's low noise and it's not picking up any hum from the power supply or interference like some pedals do. The quality of the sound is very good and like I said you can create a lot of nice tone between the volume and tone on your guitar, the controls on your amp and the features of this pedal. I tried the new line of Joyo pedals and was underwhelmed. This is my third Kmise pedal, I have the chorus and delay. This is an awesome pedal at a great price. I keep the gain at around 10 o clock and use the volume knob on my guitar to adjust the gain.
