What is the thickness of the bag?** A: This Ice bag has 4 layers of protection including high-grade Nylon and Aluminum which makes the bag ultra strong and sturdy. Traveling 6 hours in hot weather while moving 200 miles upstate NY.. I never had an issue. I have used it filled with just ice.. Also have used it with Ice and Liquids and I have never had a hole or tear caused by the ice... Just remember leave some room do not over fill with ice or liquid. It may make a 'balloon' out of the bag if well sealed and explode. When I use dry ice in a cooler I usually keep it in the original plastic bag or just loosely throw it in a grocery bag (paper or plastic) and keep a layer or two or cardboard between my pre-frozen food and dry ice.
