It has all the surfaces you could need for cooking on. The hot plate cleans perfectly everytime. I occasionally give it a spray with olive oil before cooking if the ingredients are dry and this helps with cooking and cleaning after. Just make sure you keep the water topped up in the bowl underneath and it catches all your drips and oily steam droplets, making that part easy to clean too. Packs away well and the clips securely hold everything together so it can be put back in its strong carry bag. Only thing to make sure is you set it up as level as possible when cooking. This is probably the same with all this type of cooking equipment.
