**Q: Will this fit a vespa PX125?  Regards**
A: If you go to the Xena website they have a section to checking if it fits with your bike (http://www.xenasecurity.com/product/motorbikes/alarm/XXSeries/XX6Black/page1/).  However they aren't likely to have checked every bike out so your alternate solution would be to use the diagram on the page I linked and get a ruler and measure on your bike.  You will need to make sure that the diameter of the pin fits in one of the holes in your disk and that the gap from the hole to the edge of the disk is not greater than the depth of the lock.  You will also need to measure the thickness of the disk to make sure it fits.For reference though I have used this on a Honda BR125 and on a Yamaha R6.

**Q: Can i use it for a Specilized Ariel bicycle with hydraulic disc brakes?**
A: Probably you can, but to be fair, I wouldn't trust this lock on it's own against a determined thief with just a screwdriver.
It looks solid, but it was easily prised off my motorbike, and the thieves got away with it from a crowded mall, even with the alarm going for the short duration that it took them to prise it off. The base of the Xena Lock is hollow with a plastic infill, so it isn't as strong as it looks.
If you did use this for the alarm function, I would also invest in a good quality padlock to also go through the disc, or better still, buy an alarmed padlock through the disc or around the frame, with a good chain as well, around a solid lamp post or similar.

**Q: Is the cr2 lithium battery re-chargeable ??**
A: No. I had to take the battery out of mine as it kept going off for no reason (maybe wind or car vibrations)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little lock and deterent for a motorbike.

Good sturdy and robust product, fits onto my Honda PCX 125 nicely.One should read the instructions first before trying to fix the battery in it, because if the covers aren't on within 20 seconds, the alarm will go off.Otherwise, the product is easy to use and fit. The lock is a bit sticky at the start with a fresh key, but it wasn't too bad to remove and no false alarms yet.The XX6Y model also allows one to fit the lock on by just pressing the button down for the locking pin. You don't need a key to lock it - so it can be fitted quickly.

### ⭐⭐⭐ Works well but problematic with low battery

It's compact, robust, sensitive and easy to use. BUT it has a major drawback: the way it warns you when the battery is getting low, which is about every 6 months, is that it starts going off randomly with no motion or vibration. If that happened just after you went on holiday, you would not be popular with your neighbours when you got back. So: either make sure you replace the battery every 6 months without fail, or buy a different product.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid lock

I purchased this mainly for the alarm more than the lock itself. A disc lock on its own is not really much use as I'm sure everyone realises they'll just throw your pride and joy in the back of (a probably stolen) transit van.My current bike is only a 125 which limited the options as the holes in the discs are smaller than on a full size bike, this meant the XX6 with its smaller pin diameter was the choice for me. The XX10 and XX14 both have double locking mechanisms so would've been preferable, but the size of the locking pin would not have fit on my bike.Many reviews have commented on the difficulty in getting the battery in the alarm without setting it off, as much as I dont think it is as hard as some people have found, one review the chap said he ended up hitting it with a sledge hammer and binning it (why you wouldn't just send it back or use it without the alarm is beyond me). The alarm itself only lasts for 10 second bursts but there is no ability to turn it off as it is controlled by two sensors inside the unit. The easiest way I found was to hold the speaker flat against the palm of your hand to muffle the sound. This worked very well and after the alarm went off after the first 10 seconds there was enough time for me to fit it into the lock and get the backing plate on (you might want to try this a time or two before putting the battery in if you're not so nimble of finger).I have only had the lock a day so can't comment on it's durability, but so far it seems sturdy and the alarm is quite loud. As I said I wouldn't use this on it's own, where possible this will be used along side my Almax security chain.Only 4 stars due to the smaller pin size and single locking mechanism (and yes I realise the irony behind marking it down for the small pin and it being a requirement for my bike :)).
