I wanted this to use as part of my craft display for my outdoor events. Maybe they mentioned what kind of table is needed to support the rod stand but I guess I missed it because it certainly was not made for a standard thick plastic folding table. The two claps oped wide enough to grasp the table but a few minutes after I attached the overhead bar one clamp would slide off and the top pole would come crashing down. I tried it 3 or 4 times then gave up ,afraid the pole would hit one of my customers in the head. It's dangerous if it doesn't fit perfectly and securely.
