permanently breaks 20 min after opening
this worked for twenty minutes after i opened it. after that, i wasn’t able to play music in the car via aux cord. it stopped playing over the speakers and i got a notification on my phone saying that the accessory cannot be supported. i tried to do some troubleshooting by disconnecting and starting over from scratch several times (wiping down each end, force quitting spotify, etc.) but nothing worked in terms of the music playing longer than 30 seconds before seeing that message again. i would return this but i’m outside of the window. it was cheap so i don’t feel too bad but i guess that explains why it doesn’t work.

works good for connecting to 1/8th inch jacks, as long as iPhone recognizes the accessory.
Just the right length. I use it for connecting to my old audio jack in my truck. Unfortunately my iPhone 8 doesn't recognize my awesome wired headphones so I can't use them anymore. But I blame Apple for that, not this adapter.

Works great for the new rip off apple audio jacks.
Does its job (converts a regular jack over to Apples rip off jacks) - saved me from having to get new headphones and doesnt add much length or bulk.

READ THE DISCRIPTION
Don’t do what I did and be like great buy. I think I’ll get this great product for super cheap. Then get it home and find out that apple hates your freaking guts and shuts all options out except theirs or companies that have paid them to get their names on the list. Anyways, don’t buy this unless you have a piece of crap old phone.
