However, this one I have found a little difficult to get used to. It writes ok and is a nice looking pen. If you cannot afford to pay for a high quality Japanese pen with a gold nib, then this pen with a steel medium nib is a surprisingly good little pen. So far it has written smoothly out of the box, hasn't required any minor tuning, and with what I consider is just the right amount of feedback from the nib on paper. Buy and enjoy.. December update.. having written quite a bit now,and only having to floss the nib, the factory nib is well tuned, juicy wet and smooth. Feedback can be on the toothy side, but that is mainly down to the paper not the nib. And in comparison to my 2 gold nib pens. A pilot custom 92 medium, and an platinum 3776 broad, this asvine is really worth buying.
