They are probably the perfect all-terrain tire for an SUV. Long lasting, quiet & comfy on road, great in snow, dirt, gravel, decent in moderate mud, so on and so forth. Love them on my Jeep XJ in southeast Alaska. This 30” size in particular is about as big as you can comfortably go on a stock XJ, as long as the suspension is in good shape (especially the rear leaf springs). That said, I’d recommend a 1-2” budget boost for a better fit. Pictured here is mine with the 30x9.5x15 and about 1.5” over stock height. This is how I think they should have been built from the factory.
