Received compliments everywhere I went.It's not a bright purple, so that was a plus.The cons:I'm going to preface this by saying, I do have a round head (lol), so maybe I had too many braids in, but this hair was HEAVY! Although, several people mentioned that loc hair is heavy, so keep that in mind when choosing your braid pattern. Plus, it was 14", so that didn't make it any better. That feeling never went away either, so on days when I wasn't going anywhere, I kept it up in a messy bun to relieve the pressure, or when going out, I'd wear the space buns or half up/half down (as you see in the pics)Overall:I usually don't wear long hair - 12" is my max, but I'm glad I did (besides the heaviness). I had this hair in for about 6 weeks (yes, I over wear my protective styles!!). All 3 pics are from week six - so judge for yourself how tangled it looks and if that works for you. I kept my hair tied down at night for the most part, and while it did get tangled, it still looked nice to me (and the others who complimented it). It was only tangled to a point where I wasn't able to run my fingers through it, but who needs to do that!! I'm taking it down now and they're coming out fairly easy, but probably wouldn't be able to reuse them if I wanted a "fresh" look, but would if I wanted that kinky, bohemian look! And less braids!!I did wash them before installing too.
