I had to try them to believe them (ie 70 PSI vs 95 on the Schwalbes) but softer is definitely a nicer (and faster) ride. Especially with the variable pavement between Vancouver and Whistler. Highly recommend! FYI I used tubes as I simply don't trust tubeless, especially if I'm going to be out in the middle of nowhere for hours. I needed puncture protection and a good rolling tire. This has both. My cycling group did an unofficial test where we lined up our bikes and coasted down a 1/4 mile of pavement. These tires won the event even though I had them set at the lowest recommended pressure. On gravel road runs r They seem to feel good as far as traction and absorption of bumps. They weren’t that hard to install compared to my gator skins on my roar bike. I can’t comment on the one reviewer who thought they wore down to quickly.
