Anyway we followed the directions and the results were fantastic as you can see in the photos. I circled the repair in the last photo so you can see it clearly. We have a LOT of material left so a smaller kit might have been better and we didn’t need the epoxy putty at all - you really only need it to reconstruct missing pieces - but it won’t go to waste we are inviting friends over to a ‘Make your own’ party and will be making Christmas ornaments with the left over material. I would say our DIY skills are ordinary to low - no special skills required and no items needed for repairs beyond what is on the kit!
