Toshiba Encore Mini WT7-C-100 7-inch Tablet (Silver) - (Intel Atom Z3735G 1.33/1.83GHz, 1GB RAM, 16GB Memory, Windows 8.1) with Free Windows 10 Upgrade

The item had clearly already been opened and crudely resealed with a second security sticker over the top. I assume it was a previous customer return because, sure enough, when I tried to use it it generated numerous error messages were generated and I was unable to log on. Product itself was rather dated - huge bezel and poor screen - but if you can get it to work, may be ok for a child.Very poor experience overall.

This is the first tablet I have owned, so perhaps I expected too much. Memory is rubbish, as soon as I installed Windows 10 (after blood, sweat and tears), it ran short of storage space, and I could find no way of moving stuff onto the memory card I bought for it. With good old XP it was simple, I miss the right click facility! Also touch screen is fiddly and difficult for those of us with pudgy fingers!!! Also very hard to close or expand windows.Battery could last for longer, but no doubt that will improve with new tech coming through.Be warned. Windows 10 takes a LOT of disc space, and this did not have too much to begin with!Maybe I am just too old, or not used to tablets yet.......

This is an add to my use of the product over a longer term.I have found that the battery life of the reconditioned item is not good and it only worked for about 18 months after purchase

Purchased this for my grandsonHis exact words being this is above awesome one very happy 7 year old who has had 2 previous tablets that have been back and forward for repair so in the eyes of a 7 year old this is the best

Had tablet for 4 months. Tablet is fine BUT twice I have almost sent it back to Amazon. Why? It will not switch on despite changing chargers, usb cables etc. Nothing workls and then a couple of days later it does switch on and the clock is that couple of days wrong! Don't understand why it suddenly bursts back into life - did it today just as I was about to put it in to a package with the return label on!Nothing on Google on why it dies for a day or two!PS dont try and put the free Office 365 on if you have loaded some of your own software - it crashed because of lack of space on the internal storage!

not worth the money !I was very disappointed and sent it back because the screen was freezing and the tablet seemed to have a life of it's own

Does not charge, the charging port was loose and didnt recognise charger. Was also used, not new as advertised.

Better than what I expected. Just wanted something very basic that ran on a system I am familiar with. This seems to be just the ticket for me who is not really technology minded. Appears easy to use.
