Don't like how sometimes the light blinks for couple seconds before it come on. **Q: Is there a dimmer?** A: No, there is no dimmer and at night in particular, this light looks very bright. I draped a long medium weight scarf over it and that worked quite nicely as there is enough of a "ledge" to hold it.
