Uses default heartbeat *by C***Z on May 30, 2025* This was purchased as a Mother’s Day gift and was originally supposed to be delivered before mother’s day but was delayed and delivered the day after. I really loved the idea of this necklace but it fell short. The necklace was incredibly difficult to get to sync. As stated in another review I did have to take the heart itself out of the necklace frame, which is surprisingly difficult to do. After that it still took about 20 minutes because it would just not connect. Ever since then it is constantly disconnecting or acting like it’s dead and when I plug it in on the charger, it is fully charged. I’m a cardiac nurse and absolutely loved the idea of recording the heartbeats however, after I recorded the heartbeats for my children and my husband once playing them back through the necklace and filling them, they are the EXACT SAME HEARTBEAT FOR EVERYONE! Once you record a heartbeat, it either goes through the motions and pretends it is recording and plays a default heartbeat when you are wearing the heartbeat. This would be less noticeable if you weren’t recording multiple heartbeats, and if you didn’t have experience in the cardiology field. However, since I recorded multiple heartbeats and work in the cardiology field I can tell you that either I have a defective necklace which might be the case or this is extremely false advertising because my three children, different ages and my husband do not have the exact same heartbeat rhythm. I even recorded my own heartbeat through the app because I have a heart condition that gives me a distinct heart rhythm yet when I play my heartbeat on the necklace, it plays yet again the same exact beat plays for my husband and our three kids. It does shows that I am changing who’s heartbeat is being worn at the time so I can say that the app works in that aspect but it plays the same rhythm for everyone and that rhythm doesn’t match anyone in my household.
