My date for a semi-casual wedding was tied to the wedding party. After I saw what she was wearing, I wanted to step up my separates with a vest. I ordered several styles. All of them were very nicely made and the classic colors were just right. To me, they were on par with department store products that cost much more. I'm 5'11" and 235 lbs. My only issue was that (for most styles/colors) the XL was too roomy around my waist and the L was just a bit too tight. I have wide shoulders and an average chest (I don't know my measurements, but wear a 44R jacket). I feel like if there was an athletic or slim version of the XL, it would've been perfect. Charcoal (B07NMMMR6F & B07NMJPRWS), Black (B07NMT75L8), Navy (B07NMNLT64), and Khaki Herringbone Tweed with smooth back (B09D95MH4Z) all had the same fit and finish. The floral navy blue & brown jacquard vest (B07H9QWVQV) in a Large did fit me very well. So it must be cut slightly differerent from the more standard color/fabric vests. It also looks amazing. Unfortunately, it arrived a hair too late for me to use. I didn't try on the Black Paisley Jacquard (B0774652JD) because I had ordered it in an XL and felt sure it wasn't going to fit. The only other thing I would add is that even if the Large sizes of the standard vests had not been too tight, I think I would've needed their length to match that of the Extra Larges. I'll be asking my tailor if the XL's can be altered to fit and, if they can, I may be keeping or reordering some XLs.
