It was pretty self explanatory to put together if you already have experience with such stuff. Even if you are experienced you should have no problem putting it together. Its really safe for small kids. I have a 4 year old thats driving it around. Was able to govern the acceleration all the way down to were i felt safe with my child getting on it. The shocks are very stiff right out the box, but they are also adjustable. With the shocks being so stiff it doesn't give it a lot of play to flip on its side or anything. Needless to say my son already flipped it on its side, and he was completely unharmed. Definitely worth the money, and very nice as fare as designs, and placement of all the components.
