The kids would depend on how old and how much they eat. If you imagine that they would eat half of an adult portion, 4 tins (cans) should do. However, since the tins are so inexpensive, I would buy more to ensure that there are second helpings. Five tins should be enough. **Q: Hi, once a tin is opened, how long will the contents be good in fridge? And can you put the contents in a container and freeze please? Thank you.** A: It will keep as long as any other processed meat item in the fridge. I suppose you could freeze it. But how come you are having any left over? I generally use it for a main course one day, and turn any leftover haggis into a soup for the next day. Makes a lovely, thick soup. **Q: Can you microwave this product?** A: I can see no reason why not as you reheat on the stove in any case.
