I had one of these before but it wasn't as tall. I still had to bend over for that one. This one I did not have to bend over at all. It's very sturdy. I already had a set of steps that I use with it. I have hot water access outside so my dogs can be bathed comfortably. I was never comfortable. After one dog I was whipped. I just finished one and I have three more dogs to go. It will be a breeze to finish them. I love that the drain is 10 ft long so I put it over in my flower bed. Before I head to stand in a puddle of Mud and the dogs were standing in the puddle of Mud while I gave their bath. This tub has a gate which prevents the dogs from backing out. The tie-downs are sufficient. They are cross-tied which means the dogs cannot move to the right or the left. I would not leave them unattended however because dogs will be dogs. This tub is so well worth the money. With a little encouragement, my dog walked right into the tub. I strongly recommend using a non-skid bathmat. She had a lovely bath, and her only trouble was getting out of the tub. She’s not an overly large dog, but there was no room to turn around, and backing out was something of a challenge for her. No doubt she will master this with some experience I give the tub five stars and am very happy I purchased it.
