It is not recommended you use a tip size higher than .015 due to the HP & Amps not being sufficient for proper flow rate & application -- putting a larger tip size does not ensure proper application, and MOST on-the-shelf latex paint will go through a .015 tip, with the pressure adjusted accordingly.
