Concrex Cold Set Description Concrex Cold Set is a virtually indestructible concrete repair mortar, suitable for both inside and outside applications. Ideal for winter use and cold room conditions. Features Cures at 0°C Blends with existing coloured floors Impervious and non-dusting Easy to apply. Takes heavy traffic after 12-16 hours at 20°C Coverage 1.2m² per 10kg at 5mm thick Virtually indestructible, 8 times stronger than concrete. Full strength achieved at 5mm thickness Minimal prep time saves labour costs; mix and apply in minutes 3 Steps to Apply Step 1 – Surface Preparation Surfaces to be treated must be clean, dry and free of friable material, a wire brush or sweep is usually sufficient. Watco Bio-D degreaser can be used if there are spots of oil or grease. Step 2 – Mixing Each bucket contains Concrex powder and bottles of hardener. Mix the two components with a 10" Float until you achieve a uniform grey colour, you can complete the mixing by using your gloved hands. For large quantities, it is advisable to use a mixer. Step 3 – Application Apply the repair mortar to the surface to be repaired and smooth with a 10" Float or trowel. To prevent streaks, wipe the blade with a rag soaked in white spirit. Do not apply to wet surfaces. Do not apply thicker than 50mm in one layer.
