I hope the day will not come to measure real nuclear radiation :) ### ā­ā­ā­ā­ā­ Great little consumer device *by S***N on 28 December 2021* Works surprisingly well for its size and price. Note the output is calibrated in dose (that is how much harm the radiation will do to a human) not in counts per minute (CPM) so other reviews saying the output readings are small - well in general a small dose is a good thing. ### ā­ā­ā­ā­ Works ok .... but .... *by J***Y on 2 September 2018* It works and does what it says it will do. But don't expect it to act like a full blown radiation detector. It cannot detect alphas, I suspect it isn't much better with betas, and its not very sensitive to gammas. But it works, and it will flag up gamma fields substantially greater than background.
