Bear in mind though that taller dogs get "muddier" further up their legs. This is truly a "paw" cleaner, not a leg cleaner- but it works great for keeping dirt out of your house. On my medium dogs, it goes roughly half way up the leg; more than enough to clean their their feet after a romp in the snow. My dogs acted like they were being punished at first, but with some kind words and gentle attention, they soon realized it does not hurt, makes them feel better by removing snow in their paws and they don't have to worry about tracking mud. Highly recommend this product, it really works. **Q: Does anyone have a problem with unscrewing the lid? I feel the threads are too thin. I have a very hard time getting the lid off.** A: I have not had any issues screwing on the lid, some times I don't have it lined up correctly and just have to straighten it out to close properly.
