Missing Grace: A Kit Mystery (American Girl Mysteries) Paperback – March 1, 2010

I enjoyed this Kit mystery because I've had my Kit doll since I was young and was excited to read a new story about her. Kit uses her investigative reporter skills to find her beloved dog when Grace goes missing. The story is a mystery but not spooky or scary like many mysteries out there so it could be appropriate for younger Kit fans or older ones who are looking for a good book to read.

My daughter isn’t an avid reader, but she could not wait to read more of this book every night. She likes mysteries but not scary ghost or murder or violent mystery stories. This one was exactly right.

Super story-- I am an adult reader fascinated with history and particularly enjoy the American Girl books for the experience it provides young (and old!) readers. This book exposes what a family goes through during the Depression while trying to make it back from absolute poverty. Always welcome are the last few pages of each historical book, where actual photos of the era and historical evidence is presented. I cannot say enough about the American Girl historical fiction books. I own every one and buy for my grandaughter, also.

My 6 year old loves Kit Kittredge books and this was no exception. This mystery was a little mature for her but she still had a tough time putting it down. Plenty of detail and adventure.

My 10 year old daughter loves the American Girl Mysteries. She says "My favoirite part was when Grace was found by Kit. It was a good story". The American Girl books were the first ones she downloaded to her new kindle.

I could not put this book down! I recommend this book to anyone that likes American girl mysteries. The story had a great hook and once I started it it was hard to stop reading.

Granddaughter liked the book and good to see her read. Amazon has a good priceI recommend this book for young girls.

I chose this rating because I liked the plot of the book. Anybody who likes a good mystery would like this book.
