Just what I wanted and Hard to Find! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for cooking items cut into smaller pieces *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2023* Honestly, I never knew I needed these tongs until I had them. This is a set of two pairs of tongs, both with smaller "business" ends that let you flip and check on smaller pieces of cut-up foods without disturbing the other pieces in the pan. I really like how precisely these tongs let me cook. I was pan-frying small chunks of cut-up boneless chicken breast but wanted a nice sear on each individual piece, and the metal-end tongs were perfect for turning each small piece when it was time, without disturbing the other pieces that were still browning in the pan. The nylon-end ones that are a bit wider were perfect for turning long, slender salmon filets that were only about an inch or two wide. It was the same situation where I was putting a nice brown sear on the salmon so I didn't want to use a wider spatula that would disturb the other pieces when only one piece was ready to be flipped. Both sets are also good tools for removing cooked food from the pan and for serving, although since the "grabbing" ends are narrow these obviously are't made for serving large portions all at once, but they are perfect for people to serve themselves small items like olives, cherry tomatoes, ad other cut-up veggies. I like that the tongs with the nylon ends also will not scratch non-stick pans. Both pairs washed up perfectly in the dishwasher.Overall these are well made and the the design of each makes them perfect for cooking or serving smaller items such as chunks of meat or cut-up veggies. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars I didn't know I needed these -- some unique features make them the right tool for certain tasks *by U***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 19, 2023* We do a lot of grilling and sheet pan oven cooking and the longer of this set is fantastic for reaching in and grabbing pieces that may have finished cooking before the rest -- you're way less likely to burn yourself with the extra length and the precision of the tips makes getting even smaller pieces like garlic cloves easier. The shorter plastic tipped is great for flipping things like tortillas in a nonstick pan or pulling pieces out of a stir fry where you don't want to scratch the surface. At the price, these would be a fine pair of "normal" tongs but their specialization has come in really uniquely handy. I dinged durability a little just because they're not as heavy duty as most grill tools, but for what I'm using them for they're totally adequate.Husband update: two observations as the guy doing much of the grilling, esp. with the long handled ones: the added length AND grabby metal ends are fantastic for getting into the back of the grill, or working around flare-ups.
