I have an Intel NUC with IRIS graphics. The best way to improve aging hardware on a budget is adding faster memory and more RAM. The original 8GB config has been boosted to 16GB which means dual channel performance to aid graphics. Plus Windows 10 is extra ram hungry and a lot of programs are requiring 16GB as a minimum.
