I bought a red one next and do not like it as much. Keep in mind, you will look at a lot of photos of yourself on those long hikes: You may as well wear a shirt you like. How did the shirt "die"? The shirt would get caught from time to time in the buckle of my backpack which ultimately caused holes in that area -- but hey that was fine after 1,000 miles.
