As with all products I washed them before putting them in the cupboard. They wash up GREAT, dry pretty quickly, are really fluffy and absorbent. Great value! The color we ordered was brown; however, while they are brown, there are hints of red that kind of make them stand out among all of our actual "brown" items in the bathroom.I think that the cost of these towels is on par with the quality. They aren't the most expensive towels and they aren't the cheapest. I think for the quality and the size, asking $25/piece is fair.So, I think they are good, giant towels that have decent absorbency.
