The lid would not stay up which is awkward for a man so had to return for a larger size. It was super easy to fit but I would say to measure twice, fit once. Review: Good but hinge spacing may differ - If you're retrofitting you toilet with this seat you may find your mounting holes are more widely spaced and there is no inherant adjustment. To solve this if the holes are wider than stated on the datasheet I found 10mm i/d 5 mm thick solved this problem fitting tightly over the spigots on the hinge to fill the gap whilst maintining hygiene.
