I bought some from another vendor that had the air sucked out of the bag and the foam in an unusable shape.** A: The air was sucked out of this product as well but I used it with no problem. One thing I did notice was it actually shrank a small amount after about a week. **Q: Pick and pluck to accommodate use?** A: These are not pick and plunk design. They are solid sheets of foam. **Q: can they be used for outdoor vent plugs for winter?** A: I wouldn't use them for that. The description said to soak them in water after removing the vacuum seal, then let them dry in the sun in order to puff up and fill out... NO NEED to soak in water and wait to dry. After removing from he vacuum seal, they puffed out to dimensions and were ready to be used and cut immediately! Not to mention the foam is beautiful. Dark color and feels amazing.
