Cold water enters from left bottom port(F3) and leaves from left top port(F4). You may need circulation pump if there are permitted pressure loss limits. It is small size, only 5" x 12 " size of plate with 4 ports 1-1/4" MNPT. We also has 3" x 8" with 4 ports 3/4" MNPT and 4" x 12" with 4 ports 1" MNPT. Hope it can solve your questions. **Q: How is this product intended to be mounted? Are there studs or tabs, or is a bracket required?** A: It can be mounted right on the pipe or you can just strap on the wall. This unit have not brackets or studs that come with it.
