**Q: how does this alleviate butt sore?**
A: It helps reduce pressure sores by circulating air under the patient’s body in a wave format so that blood constantly flows underneath the area of the body that would lay flat against a mattress for extended periods of time.

**Q: How do you release the air?**
A: The pump inflates and deflates the two series of air chambers alternately. To release all the air and completely deflate the pad, you have to turn the pump off, and physically pull the air hoses off the nipples where they attach to the pad. Done carefully but forcefully, it won't damage anything. Then lay the pad out on the floor with the air nipples unobstructed and either roll or fold and press the pad slowly and progressively to push the air out of the pad while you fold or roll it up.

**Q: Is it comfortable and quiet?**
A: My mother finds it very comfortable, and she was able to heal from a bed sore. It is also very quiet.

**Q: Too hard...how can I soften the bubbles?**
A: Lowering the air pressure should help.  The less air in the pad, the less firm it will be.
