It has a nice rugged look and even comes with a little zipper case. But there’s a huge downside: his AirPods case has fallen out of this thing TWICE and he hasn’t even had it for a month. He never takes them out of the case so we know it’s not from stretching. He takes this every where so the two times this has happened he almost had a heart attack lol - but thankfully both times he found the AirPods in his car. So heed our warning: if you buy these, only use them at home!***UPDATE***The seller reached out to me 2 days after I left my review and apologized for the dissatisfaction and offered to send us a free replacement but it would be a new model. That was extremely kind of them -- such great service. It arrived quickly and my husband immediately put it to use.The new model is very different -- it doesnt have the flip top anymore and is instead just a slit. Basically, you slide your AirPods case in and the plastic completely envelopes it. Then when you need to use your AirPods, you squeeze the bottom so that the case slides up and out enough for you to open the lid. My husband has been carrying this on his hip all day for the past week and hasn't had any issues with it falling out. The only negative thing he says is that it's kind of annoying to have to push the case out to access your AirPods, but really it's not that big of a deal. I added a star for service and another star for solving the primary issue of falling out! Side slots are perfect for slim carabiners. It does well while bouncing around clicked on my tactical gear. It is still worth a five star rating because it only has a minor drawback and that’s the loop on the back that allows for the lid to extend also obscures the lid from fully opening. It can be pushed back since it’s silicone, to fully extend it and it will close properly. To make sure that this adheres to the plastic case of the AirPods take a non-abrasive alcohol wipe, wipe the case and the inside of the silicone case and slip it on.
