A: Wipe off oily residue of unit with paper towel then use warm wet soapy sponge to wash out while holding upside down. Rise out upside down unit with hand held sprayer so that water will not enter unit

**Q: I don't want fish waffles everyone keeps mentioning, has anyone used this for taiyaki? How well does it work for that?**
A: I have used this cooker to make taiyaki.
It works really well. I had a taiyaki pan for gas burner. But it is really hard to make a well done taiyaki with it. Even takes long to make taiyaki.
This taiyaki cooker makes 2 tayakies with in 2-3 minutes. Even it it really easy to clean.
It is little bit smaller than gas burner pan.

Super easy to use and clean. The maker is lightweight and easy to store. We made over 50 pizzelle cookies our first time and they got better as we learned to use it. The only comment I would have is that there needs to be a place to secure the cord after you wrap it around the pegs the back. The cord fits perfectly there, but then nothing holds it in place, so it comes unwrapped. Just a small thing but would make storage easier.
