Review: Easy to use & noticeable results! - This is my second time purchasing after a summer season. My plants all thrive on this stuff. I mix this and superthrive into a gallon of water and I use it for each watering. All of my plants started to bloom within the first couple of weeks. All of my pothos are thriving, my philodendron birkin loves it, all of my prayer plants, arrowheads, Christmas cactus, inch plants, everything! None of my plants have suffered burns or damage from over fertilizing. I highly recommend this for your indoor plants. Even my plants that aren’t under grow lights are still thriving and throwing out now blooms. I live in the Columbia Gorge in Oregon where sunlight is almost nonexistent in the fall/winter seasons. This fertilizer has really helped keep my plants happy & healthy despite all of the weather we get. I promise that the value is worth the money spent on this fertilizer. Some reviews mention that the directions were difficult to understand, but I found them extremely easy to follow. Simply add a cup of water directly into the pouch to create your concentrate. Then you use one bottle cap full per gallon of water when you are watering.
Review: I can't prove it but I know this stuff kills fungus gnats!!! And it's awesome for plants! - Liquid dirt is the best thing I've found to help my plants in many ways! My plants are beautiful, strong, green, happy and super healthy now. My water propagated plants along with my "lives in water plants" (cause why not?) are all thriving. Last and most important, and I have no proof of causation, but I no longer have any fungus gnats! Seriously, they all disappeared after I started using liquid dirt for a little while! About two years ago, I was in dire straights after discovering the potting soil I used (in like a million pots!) was infested with fungus gnats! I spent a small fortune trying to get rid of them, but nothing worked. As I said, I can't prove the liquid dirt did the job but I know it's not a coincidence. How can I be so sure you ask? Well, I've used new dirt since, which also had fungus gnats, (they seem to be in all dirt at this point!) and I did nothing to treat the problem except water with liquid dirt. Yet, somehow they all disappeared, all of them! Deductive reasoning, what else could have eliminated the cock roaches of the plant world? I don't know either... Ok, so I normally by the 1 gallon concentrate card and it's very easy to mix. This time I bought the 50 gallon and I honestly found the last part of the instructions confusing. I don't want to mix the fertilizer in the plant itself. I want to water the plants with the proper concentration like I always do. I don't want to burn the plants with the incorrect mix amount and it would also be quite time consuming the way the instructions suggested. Therefore, I've done some research and have the correct amounts of water to mix ratio. I think it's important because I read some comments with incorrect diluting information, which had a lot of 'likes'! Yikes 😆 To mix a liquid dirt gallon concentrate, based on the original instructions from the manufacturer, you first add one cup of water to the powder in the pouch to create a concentrate. Then, for the "mix," you combine one capful of this concentrate with one gallon of water. For a final dilution to water your plants, you would then take two tablespoons of the "mix" and add it to one quart of water. Here's how to make 1 gallon. There's 4 quarts in a gallon and at 2 tablespoons per quart (2×4) that =8 tablespoons or 1/2 cup of "mix" to 1 gallon of water. I really hope this information helps someone .

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why is ingredients spelled wrong on back of bag ?Super shady**
A: And they also refuse to tell me the amount of product in the pouch, only how many gallons it makes. The shipping details say the weight is 1.58 oz but that doesn't match with the photos of people holding the bag which seems too large for 1.58 ounces.

**Q: What is the guaranteed micro nutrient breakdown? You have a lot of "stuff" but I need to know the numbers so I can compare to similar products.**
A: Don't know the numbers, but I do know when something works and this stuff is 100% safe and VERY effective. It has been a wonderful addition to my garden tools, and is my go to food now for all my plants and trees ans shrubs.

**Q: Anyone use this in a semi hydro setup like leca? What’s ratio for reservoir?**
A: Im not an expert on Hydro & Leca since I'm just starting to use this Method myself, but I presently use the same Plant Water I use for my Soil Mix Plants. Which is 1 Tablespoon to 1 Gallon of Water & I add Super Thrive. But Liqui-Dirt is all I use during Fall/ Winter Feedings as now Ive stopped using Fertilizer.

**Q: Why did it kill most of my seedingls and a couple of plants which were half grown when I used it as directed?**
A: most any plant food, when applied full strength (per directions), will kill seedings. they don't need any. when using for grown plants, use at half strength and water before and after to disperse the solution well. never feed a struggling plant, let it recover first by improving its cultural conditions. feeding often finishes them off if anything is wrong with them to begin with. feed at one quarter strength if unsure. "more is not always better".

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommended by the greenest thumb I know and it works, even for me!
*by M***A on December 30, 2025*

This was recommended by a plant genius at work (the one I take my plants to for emergency triage). Since I've started using it, no more of my plants have required emergency visits and two have started growing new leaves! When I first got it I was dismayed by the lightness and size of the container for the cost, but when I realized how concentrated it is I realized it is a pretty good value. It should last a really long time. My plants are happier, even with my brownish thumbs! It's a miracle!
