We've had other food containers before and they never really kept the food warm. This food container by Zojirushi really does a good job of keeping the food hot enough after a few hours for the kids to enjoy their lunches at school. Another good thing about this food container is that it is easy to wash. All the parts (only 3) come apart easily to wash. The best part is that there aren't any nooks or small crevices that you really need to clean.
