Even with this cold weather spell (around 7c, the product recommends applying in 5c or above), I used a blow-torch to slightly heat up where I was applying it anyway. I used my gloved fingers and took my time to press along the edges and it stuck on, ensuring I pressed edges into any grooves/dips inthe wood of the shed and well into/over any screw holes. Time will tell if it works good, but given how well it went on I have good hopes it'll do the job! If at room temperature it should stick to many surfaces. If not, heat briefly with a gas gun as you lay it on. Also you can use a wallpaper edging roller once it’s in place to help make it bond. **Q: Will it work to stop lead flash slipping on a slate roof.** A: Yes, you can use it to replace damaged lead flashing too, adheres to slate, stone, brick, wood etc,,. **Q: Can this be painted over ?** A: I’ve only used sealant paint on it no problem, it sticks to it and doesn’t peel off. If I can update/edit this review, I'll report back in a few weeks and let you know. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product but beware of the size *by R***Y on 17 November 2025* I used this to create a waterproof bond between the house and a lean-to, but after about 4-5 months it has slipped/dropped off the wall and has let water in during heavier rainfall. I used the recommended Bostik primer (black markings seen in photos) which I had hoped would mean this wouldn’t happen.
