I do a lot of cooking in advance as well as buying fresh farm produce and being able to vacuum seal individual servings is a real time saver and saves me money in the long run because things don't go bad. With teenagers in the house as well as college students come up they can just grab a pack out of the freezer that I have vacuum sealed and go and When I cut up apples for instance they are more likely to grab that for a snack then some junk. So this works out well for me.
