I needed a low-priced adapter to charge all my stuff, including a phone, external battery pack, watch and wireless earbuds. This adapter worked perfectly. It came in a very nice little zippered case which made packing it easier. Its essentially a 3x3 or so cube, so it will fit into the corner of any piece of luggage you have. I got this one specifically because it had the 4 USB ports along with a regular plug in outlet and it was very convenient to plug in my devices before bed and not have to get up and switch them out halfway through the night. I guess you could but an adapter plus a USB hub but why carry 2 things when you only need one?This is definitely for electronics and gadgets - I wouldn't plug a hair dryer into it or something. But for an overseas work trip where you need to have your electronics charged and on the ready, this worked perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked great on my trip to Korea *by I***N on Reviewed in the United States on March 21, 2018* This adapter provided phone charging for me and two friends during my recent stay in Korea. Korea uses a euro-style plug. I found the fit into the receptacles to be very loose, to the point that the adapter tended to slip out, but this was true of every cord and adapter we had with us; I think the hotel just had old, loose europlugs. Our hotel room was also equipped with a couple of universal (UK/US/Euro) type receptacles; I ended up extending the UK prongs on the adapter to plug it in there, and that was were it stayed. Charging was not particularly fast, but it was acceptable. I was able to plug my laptop charger into the US receptacle when I needed it, so that aspect of the adapter works fine as well.For the uninitiated: this is NOT a voltage converter, so any US appliances you plug in while visiting somewhere with 220V power (IE: most places in the world) need to be rated for 120-240V operation. Most laptop and mobile device chargers are rated that way, but you need to check before plugging in; the voltage rating will be printed or embossed on the power adapter if it was reputably manufactured. Hair dryers, curling/straightening irons, and other resistive heating devices will probably NOT work with this unless they are specifically designed for international use. Complaint is when I use the usb charger for my Apple phone it says accessory not supported. Tried 5+ cables so it’s definitely the adapter. Also it’s a bit loose when plugged into an outlet. Used the two prong round and the three big prongs.
