No problems with digestion. ### ⭐ What I Wish I Knew Before Switching to Acana *by A***A on December 6, 2025* I wanted to leave a review because my experience with Acana ended up being pretty rough for my dog. After switching to it, he started acting uncomfortable after meals. Pacing, restless, and always going to the back door right after eating, which I now realize was stomach pain. Thought he was just being annoying and wanted to play ball. His stools got harder and he would strain, and a few months later he ended up developing bloat and needing emergency surgery. His recent bloodwork also showed high eosinophils, which points to GI inflammation or a food intolerance. Once we looked back at the timeline, everything lined up with when he started this food. Every dog is different, but for mine, Acana was way too rich and caused ongoing stomach issues that eventually turned extremely serious. Like my dog would have been dead if I didn’t rush to the ER.
