Ive always found it easier to make a drilled hole bigger, and nearly impossible to make it smaller. 😀 I would use the supplied drill bit on the buckets or if you don’t have your own bits and only drill it bigger if needed. The included bit does work, but it felt very tight for my needs. It could have been the bucket I used. If it is loose, try tightening it. **Q: Can I order replacement springs for this?** A: I’m not sure if they have replacement springs available from the seller. However, I have had to put mine back together after the chickens knocked one of the cups off. I would think any of the big home improvement stores or hardware stores would have springs like that.
